Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Rebirth iOS app (the "App"), provided by Thinslate Labs, LLC ("Thinslate Labs", "we", "us"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

The service

Rebirth delivers daily affirmations and quotes tailored to the themes you choose, shown in the app and on a home-screen widget. You can also add your own affirmations. The App works offline and does not require an account.

Wellbeing disclaimer

Rebirth is intended for inspiration and general wellbeing only. The affirmations and quotes are not medical, psychological, or other professional advice, and are not a substitute for professional care. If you are struggling with your mental health or in crisis, please contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services. Do not rely on the App where doing so could cause harm.

Purchases, billing, and refunds

• Access. Full access to the App requires a purchase. You can choose a one-time lifetime purchase or an auto-renewing annual subscription, which may include a free trial. Prices are shown in the App before you buy, and payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
• Renewal. An annual subscription automatically renews for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• Free trial. If a free trial is offered and you buy a subscription, any unused portion of the trial is forfeited when the purchase takes effect, as required by Apple.
• Managing and cancelling. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your Apple ID settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Restoring purchases. You can restore a previous purchase from within the App.
• No refunds. Except where required by law or under Apple's policies, all purchases are final and non-refundable, including for any unused portion of a subscription period. Cancelling stops future renewals but does not refund the current period.

Purchases are processed by Apple and are also subject to Apple's applicable terms.

Affirmations you add

You are responsible for any affirmations or text you add to the App. Your custom content is stored on your device. You agree not to add content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you do not have the right to use. We are not responsible for content you create.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the App, including by attempting to disrupt it, reverse engineer it except as permitted by law, access it through unauthorized means, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

Intellectual property

The App and its content (excluding your own inputs) are owned by Thinslate Labs and protected by applicable laws. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Thinslate Labs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) the App.

Changes

We may modify the App or these Terms. When we change these Terms, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Thinslate Labs, LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
